AN ASTON MARTIN FOR KIDS - THE DB CONVERTIBLE

THE DB CONVERTIBLE - AN ASTON MARTIN FOR JUNIORS

Technology advancement through invention and creativity continues to amaze and improve man’s life. On this automotive article, I focus on the recently released car for kids. The DB convertible is a classy sports car for juniors ranging from 10 years and above. The car owes its design from the 1960s Aston Martin DBs which was initially designed for adults

The car is hand crafted and measures; 250 cm in length and 103 cm in width. Thus, the car is miniature in shape and looks appealing for a ride by the kids The interior of the car is painted black and a leather seat spacious enough for two. It has an electric key starter and a petrol engine. The steering wheel is wood rimmed thus gives a tight grip. It has two doors and has a space for two; a passage and the driver. Its silver in color. However, the car can be painted to meet the taste and preferences of the customer. Just as the normal car, it has four wheels and a bonnet which houses the engine.

Speed-wise, the DB convertible is superb as per the desires of a kid. This can be attributed to the 110cc 4 stroke engine, which is air cooled, and a semi-automatic 3 speed gear box. With this design, the car can cover 46mph equivalent to 74km/h. However, this speed can be regulated by the manufacturers as per a parent’s desire. With such a speed, the car is fitted with Brembo disc brakes. This braking system is known for instant motion break even at top speed.

The DB convertible is currently selling at a range of  $16400 to $27000. This is partly because the Aston Martin model is expensive, and that; this is the first car of its kind. The model is in stock and available for sale. It is also good to note that, the car can accommodate the weight of a grown up and the pedals are adjustable to create enough space for an adult to drive. At the current time, this can be the perfect present for a kid to be remembered even in years to come.
